Meathead Knitalong

Kelly Sue, let me know what you'd want in return for a hat like that(money, kitten, special selection of items from the Lush store, whatever)...I love the shape of it!
It's really cute on, actually. I didn't think it would be, but it is.

Why don't you just buy the yarn for me? It's an easy knit and if you'll wear it, I'd be pleased to do it for you.

We can either go to the knitting store together and I'll do it while you're here, or, if you don't want to risk the store not having the colors you want, you can tell me what colors you want and I'll place the order through the store ahead of time. Colors are listed here: http://brownsheep.com/lp.htm

(We can do it solid, or with stripes, or heathered or whatever.)

We have a date, ma'am.

Ooo, great pattern. And that's a lovely flower, too. Did you make it up on the fly?

Also in the queue: booties for Mr. Wood & Meredith.
Yeah, the flower is, uh, improvised. I chained something like 5 stitches, then crochet through the first stitch to make a circle. Then chain ten and connect each "petal" through the central loop as many times as will fit.

Did that make any sense?
Mine didn't come out as cute. I love how spingy your is.
Oh, I think yours is cute! I want to do another in black.
it is like magenta and a flocked grey but my digital camera is off in school land with the husband. I am going to make stripey one I think
Love the hat! It has made me want to make one. Did you buy the pattern from Larissa Brown's website? I talked to folks at my LYSs and they had never heard of it.
I signed up for the KAL on her site and she sent me the pattern for free. I'm not supposed to pass it on, or I would just forward it to you. E-mail her, maybe?
I wouldn't expect for you to pass it along. I will definitely email her. I certainly don't mind buying it. Thanks for the info.
