Meathead Knitalong
My contribution to Larissa's Meathead Knitalong. (The flickr group is right here.) It's an easy 1-evening knit; the embellishment is up to you, she just asks that you embellish over the left ear. (I crocheted a GIANT thing first that ended up looking like some sort of horrible pink and green dream catcher. This flower was my second try. I think I might put a button in the center if I can find an appropriate one.)
Were I to do this over again, I'd make the dark pink a solid band, rather than play with which colors I held together. I might do anohter -- I think I've got the yarn left over. It did only take one night, afterall.
The yarn is Lambs Pride bulky, which is, of course, a delight. And I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about the point, but I love it. Very pixie-ish.
So yeah, like it a lot -- will definitely wear it (it goes beautifully with my hot pink car coat; it's plenty warm and soft) -- but if I had it to do over again, I'd
make some changes with regard to my color design.

Why don't you just buy the yarn for me? It's an easy knit and if you'll wear it, I'd be pleased to do it for you.
We can either go to the knitting store together and I'll do it while you're here, or, if you don't want to risk the store not having the colors you want, you can tell me what colors you want and I'll place the order through the store ahead of time.
